In order to take the thesis defence exam, Master of Science students must meet the following criteria, those who meet the criteria and are found successful in the thesis defence exam are graduated.
- Successful completion of all the required courses
- Having a GPA of 2.5 or above
- Having completed the seminar course
- Completion of NAS501 (FBE501) Research Methods and Scientific Ethics course
- At least 1 publication related to the thesis topic;
a) Articles that have been published, accepted for publication, or are currently under peer review in the Natural Sciences and Engineering Bulletin (NASE) of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.
b) Articles that have been published, accepted for publication, or are currently under peer review in national or international scholarly journals.
c) Full papers or abstracts (including posters) that have been presented or accepted for presentation at national or international conferences, congresses, or symposia.
