The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Gaziantep was founded in 1987 with the aim of training highly qualified professionals who possess the ability to conduct scientific research, and to produce innovative solutions to engineering problems through the guidance of its experienced academic staff in science and engineering.
Graduate education is carried out by taking advantage of the University’s extensive laboratory facilities, field studies, a wide range of up-to-date courses, and interactive learning opportunities.
Since its establishment, the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences has made significant contributions to both academia and industry through graduate theses that address the needs of society. Our academic staff believe that graduate education is a personalized and experience-based learning process. Therefore, they devote themselves to fulfilling all responsibilities required to educate competent and independent researchers. In this context, we fully utilize our facilities and resources to support our students and share our academic and professional experiences to enhance their individual development.

In line with the University’s strategic vision, the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences aims to be a leading research center, promoting the integration of science and engineering and the use of emerging technologies for the benefit of society.
The Graduate School is committed to increasing the number of graduate students while maintaining the highest standards of academic quality. In this regard, we pledge to provide high-quality education not only to domestic students but also to those coming from neighboring countries, primarily Syria and Iraq.
With 11 departments, 45 different graduate programs, over 100 faculty members, and more than 500 master’s and doctoral students, the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences is one of the most developed graduate schools in the region. Our graduates have successfully established themselves as highly qualified professionals in the international arena.
Graduate programs are offered in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Food Engineering, Physics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Textile Engineering (with instruction in English), and in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry (with instruction in Turkish). To date, nearly 400 master’s and 100 doctoral students have graduated from our school.
